About the Site
This site was designed in the Summer of 2006 by Mark Thurman. It is written in PHP, HTML, and CSS and runs on the Apache Web Server on Linux. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas for the site please send them to the webmaster.
Privacy and Site Policies
This website follows the Offical OA Web Site Guidelines Published by the National OA Committee (here).
What information do we collect?
Taleka Lodge collects no personally identifiable information when you visit our main site. We do collect IP Addresses, requests, referers, and browser types in our server log, but we do not associate them with a name or a personal identification number. We do collect your email address if you sign up for the E-Egret, our email newsletter.
On the Taleka Lodge Admin portal, our information is matched with your user name to provide a complete event log so the Lodge can ensure data integrity.
What do we do with information we collect?
We analyze our server logs to ensure that our site preforms under the browsers and operating systems our users use.
Do we share or sell your information with anyone?
The Okaw Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America has access to all server logs and email addresses. Your information will never be shared or sold to anyone outside of Taleka Lodge or the Okaw Valley Council except if required by Law Enforcement Personnel.
What do I do if I no longer want to receive email from Taleka Lodge?
Follow directions at the bottom of every email newsletter we send out to unsubscribe.
